For the first time in my life, I have been suffering greatly from allergies.
I've been receiving many a smarty-pants comment here and there from people
who tell me "isn't there a vitamin for that?". Ha Ha.
Many others have told me to take Allegra or Claritin, etc.. the list is
long, but not my preference since the side effects from those antihistimines
is not really up my alley.
OK, so being an inquisitive person, I've been researching this stuff and
trying very hard to rid myself of the scratchy eyes, constant sneezing and

Aug. 2005 -- Diets high in folate may help reduce the risk of Alzheimer's
disease.
During a nine-year study, researchers showed that older adults whose diets
were high in folate reduced their risk of Alzheimer's disease by half compared
with those whose diets contain less than the Recommended Dietary Allowances
(RDA).
The study appears in the inaugural issue of Alzheimer's and Dementia: the

Over 15 million women rely on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) to help take the edge off menstrual and menopausal discomforts. Until 2002, many of these millions of women have remained on HRT, even after menopause, under the widespread belief that these drugs helped to prevent heart disease and different forms of cancer. Three years ago I started waking up in the middle of the night sweating and soaking wet. The night sweats were getting worse and worse which caused me to be tired at work, almost to the point where I was falling asleep at my computer. After a couple of weeks of going through this, I went to my doctor and practically begged him to help me. I was still getting my period at the time and he tested me to see if I was starting to go through menopause. The tests came back negative.
He then tested my thyroid which also came back negative. I was at my wits end and beginning to feel very depressed and desperate. He gave me something to help me sleep through the night which gave me some relief but then during the day I started getting hot flashes. I looked like a tomato and felt like my body was on fire.
