The past month my online business has been thrown a curve, I've learned to swerve and come back. Today I'm going to talk about how you swerve and make a come back not the details of the curve. When you are marketing online your business is open to anyone who wants to dig and see what your doing. You must be very focused on your marketing strategies and have multiple streams of income flowing so when the curve comes you are prepared to swerve and come back.
First you must clear your mind of al negative thought of why this happened to you. It really doesn't matter and is no longer the issue. For me I always look at my end goal for my business and start focusing on the end result. If you read my who is page (www.cindymcasey.com) clear towards the bottom of the page you will see what my end result focus is. This end result has to be so strong that no matter what curve you are thrown you can swerve and come back. It's all in your state of mind.... knowing no matter what you will accomplish this end result.
Next you need to sit back and take out the emotion of the curve and realisticly look for the best solution. If you have a mentor this is the time to bring them in on the situation and ask for guidance. This person shouldn't be directly connected to the curve, it should be someone you trust that can look at the situation from the outside and offer guidance.
The next step is the planning stage for the swerve. Sit down and make a step by step marketing strategies plan for the come back. This marketing strategies plan should be detailed making sure to cross all your T and dot the I's.
Once the marketing strategies plan is finished the swerve becomes simple. WORK THE PLAN.
It boils down when marketing online focus on your state of mind and actually WORK your plan. I see many marketers online planning and training and forgeting about actually working the plan.
