House Judiciary Committee Chairman James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., predicted the bill (Bankruptcy Reform Law) would recoup "billions … in losses associated with profligate and abusive bankruptcy filings." Here it is one year later that Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act went into effect. Americans are far worse off and suffering further financial devastation.

This article ends with the following paragraph and I could not agree more..
"You can do this! You have the power to make wise choices and be financially free. It will require discipline, as well as willingness to examine and change spending habits. The good news is that regardless of where you are at, you can chart a course to be free from credit card debt."

With that said, the journey to financial freedom start with education. There is so much to learn but done use that as an excuse. We are talking about the core of your physical and spiritual life. If you don't control your freedom then choices are made for you that control your very being or existence.

For the last 6 years graduates of NAES (North American Educational Service) have been educating Americans to stop pay their Credit Card Bills. Client have eliminated over $145 million “Credit Card Debt”. On an average of a 12-18 months the debt is gone. Can you image the relief!

Survey: Bankruptcy Filings on the Rise Again, Likely to Return to Pre-2005 Law Levels During Next Year

As the controversial federal bankruptcy overhaul approaches its first anniversary, a new survey of 700 members of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) is the latest proof that the ill-conceived law is failing on an across-the-board basis. More than two-thirds (68.5 percent) of those surveyed said that their bankruptcy filings are up in the third quarter of 2006, compared to the first half of the year. Almost three out of five bankruptcy attorneys (57.5 percent) now expect filings to reach their pre-overhaul levels by or before the law's second anniversary in 2007.

What where they thinking when they stated that cardholders would need to double the monthly payment up to maybe 4% from 1 1/2%...Cardholders had the opportunity run out and make those purchases that would tranform their lives to the lifestyle of the "rich and famous" financed through the minimun payments on their credit card. So what the debt equaled or exceeded monthly incomes or even annual incomes several times over.

Then the lanscape changed. For the last 20 years American saw their jobs go off shore, their salaries frozen,inflation grow, medical coverage lost resulting in stress and illness. So you got sick! Luckly you had those credit card to pay for medicine and medical care. But how long did that last? Then came 9-11. Well you know, you experienced it.
