"Six airlines, including Continental, Delta, and United, will offer seat connections to power iPods, and show video stored in the iPod on a seat-back display."
By Antone Gonsalves
InformationWeek
Nov 14, 2006 07:29 PM
Apple Computer is working with six major airlines to integrate the popular iPod portable media player with in-flight entertainment systems.
Read the article.
This really doesn't come as a surprise to me.
First I found out that 70+% of 2007 model vehicles would have iPod compatible sound systems BUILT IN, and now airplanes will be equipped for it as well. This is, of course, great news for podcasters, as this creates even more opportunities for podcasters to be heard.
If you want to know more about how to use Podcasting to increase your visibility with your target market, and how it can increase your search engine rankings, then plan on being at the ONLINE
Business Podcasting Expo on January 19-21, 2007. Most of the seminars will be about increasing your business skills and talents, but some of the time will be spent on introducing entrepreneurs to the power of podcasting.
Penny Haynes,
1st Podcast Publishing
Penny Haynes is preparing to launch a 1-day, 10-person only Podcasting class where Penny actually helps you set everything up and teaches you what to do. When the day is done, you will not only have everything in place for your first podcast (hosting, keywords, domain, software, RSS feed), you will even record, edit and mix, ID3 Tag, upload and post your podcast with Penny's help.
Penny has developed a new small group curriculum, but wants to test it before going public with it. She already has 2 students, but would like to fill the class with 8 more people to make sure she can work one-on-one with all 10 students during the classes. So the first 8 people who email customerservice@1stPod.com with a desire to attend will receive the 8 hour class for only $97.97 (1/2 off).
Of course, the class will be recorded for later review, and Penny will only be an email away for additional help. You can find out more about it at
http://www.PodcastingConferences.com. The class will be held this Saturday, November 11th, from 10am EST to 6pm EST. She is teaching Podcasting for PC Users only this time, although she hopes to expand it to Mac classes once this podcasting course is established.
Again, this is a test run of the course, and this public offer will not be made again. First-come, first-served only!
