Honestly, I would recommend having Penny do your audio - she has a perfect voice, and knows what she is doing. There isn't anything worse than having "amateur" level audio on a professional site (and that includes podcasting)!

But, if you are a do-it-yourself-er, then Penny offers a few audio recording audio books. They are very easy to understand, and walk you through, step by step, on recording and editing the audio. BTW, even if you want to record the audio yourself, but, aren't comfortable with editing the audio, mixing in music, etc - then, again, you should hire Penny. She is really a wiz, and it was totally a blessing that I had the opportunity to work with her for a short time - I learned more that way then I could have in AGES - right down to optimizing *my* voice in audio so that it was easy to listen to, understandable, and clear. (and those of you who have talked to me know that my voice is quiet and it really didn't like to be recorded...)
