When I first started working my business online I had but a replicated site. Now a few short months later I publish several RSS channels, have websites and well, just so many different things going on online and offline it would take much too long to share.
Suffice it to say though, I spent many, many hours online looking for ways to promote my business and website without spending a fortune. I spent hours doing this keep in mind. So although many of these resources are free, I had to find them and figure out what hoops to jump through in order to be able to use the free resources.
Not only that but I had to sit here in front of this computer all the while READING through all the baloney and junk just to get to the actual places to submit my sites and channels to and to find the resources to promote my business online. I also ended up subscribed to way too many ezines and newsletters in the process.
