You are absolutely right about the myth of HYIP programs! The documentation behind them sounds legitimate: you'll about the mysterious world of International Banking and the Prime Banks and the post-World War II Bretton Woods accords which made all this stuff legal. But what some folks that have made money from these scams may not realize is that the Feds can come after them. If you participate in them, then you are an accomplice to the crime being committed.
