Hey Joe - I bought Ad Ware Spy too. I couldn't beleive what it found on Sunday and I had just scanned by my system with Adaware and Spybot on Saturday. IE seems to be the biggest culprit in this scan.
I use Ad-Aware Professional which also comes with Ad-Watch which runs in the background while you surf. Since I've used it I've never had any spyware on my system.
I also use Spybot too.
Hey Joe,
You are a brave man - trying anything Microsoft in beta form nowadays.
I'll have to take a look at AdWareSpy - sounds interesting. There are so many programs for this kind of thing and most work okay except this miss one little aspect and boom something gets into your system.
Thanks for the tip.

I'll bet traffic credits to doughnuts that you've registered for a program or two haven't you? Did you get the usual email from your sponsor welcoming you aboard? Did you respond? No? Yes?

And then there's the thought of, if you only had that kinda money laying around.. (like I wish I did for my site). : )
Free only goes so far. You must be willing to spend money to make money, but you don't have to go broke doing it either. The key is to spend wisely for your online advetising.
You don't throw money at your stock broker and say make me money. You research and investigate your investment options. Choosing online advertising resources is the same thing; the only difference is that you are investing in your own business and not someone else's.
