RSS The Spammers Next Target?

I read today in WebProNews that there is concern about RSS being the next target for spammers.
In their article entited "RSS Ads A Growing Trend?"

"However, what would happen if spam started to proliferate throughout syndication feeds? How damaging might unwanted advertising be to this developing technology?"

It's sad to see just how far email has infected us.
Let's look at why RSS really can't be a spammers tool.
