Yahoo RSS Capability - Hot Marketing Tip!

Wednesday, April 28, 2004
Yahoo has an RSS Aggregator (beta version) built into the their my.yahoo.com portal pages. According their site, the major benefit is this: "As part of making it easy to find and add RSS headlines to My Yahoo!, we are building an RSS directory. To date, this directory includes thousands of the most popular blogs and web sites that publish RSS feeds, but it is by no means exhaustive. This is where we need your help during the beta period.

Any valid RSS file can be added to My Yahoo!, whether it exists in the Yahoo! directory or not -- if you know the URL, you can add it. Once it is added to your page, the URL is also added to the directory for others to discover via search results. Ultimately, you help make the My Yahoo! directory better by finding and adding feeds we don't already know about."

Ebay ID Verification Scam

Monday, April 05, 2004
This one looks a little more legit, but it's not! They're definitely getting a little more creative with their writing:

Valued eBay Member, Establish your proof of identity with ID Verify (free of charge) - an easy way to help others trust you as their trading partner. The process takes about 5 minutes to complete and involves updating your eBay information. When you're successfully verified, you will receive an ID Verify icon in your feedback profile. Currently, the service is only available to residents of the United States and U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and Guam.)

The link in the email directs you to http://itemgirl.co.kr. I don't know about you, but this doesn't look like an Ebay or Paypal URL to me?
