February 27, 2007 Right on the heels of the arrest of an ACLU president for child porn we get this news.

Proving not everyone in Washington has lost his mind, justices denied an appeal of a 200-year sentence for a high school teacher who downloaded child porn from 1996 until he was caught in 2002, Reuters reported.
Without any comment, the high court declined to hear the constitutional challenge to the sentence given to Morton Berger, who at the time of his arrest in 2002 was a married, 52-year-old high school teacher with no prior criminal record.

Due to the thunderous applause that I received from the far-Left over the "I Am Tired" letter written by one of our troops in Iraq , I thought it prudent to follow up with one last attempt to be very specific about what I have observed and actually personally encountered during my 36 years of service to this Great Country. Unlike Bob McClellan, I will not continue to whine, twist and degrade our country's leaders on a weekly basis. Instead, this will be a one time input attempting to reach some of those who are confused by McClellan and his ilk's unethical rantings and give some insight through my personal experience as a professional military officer over the years. These examples are but a few. In real life there were many more which space and time will not allow.

I just can't believe what a nation of sheep we have become. The media, which is anything but liberal regardless of the constant drumbeat from the O'Reillys and the Limbaughs and Fox News, says the sky is falling and we have to defend our way of life and all the armchair generals put on their red, white and blue clothes and tell how patriotic they are. Just wait until the brave boys come back from Iraq and Afghanistan and tell the nation the truth about the war and what is really going on there. It will be Viet Nam all over again. Nobody will believe them. They will be called turn-coats and wind up with the same problems so many Viet-Nam vets have. Hurt and rejected. History has a way of repeating it's self.
I wonder who read the everything the General said and actually thought about it? So many of the responses appeared to be ready to rip the previous reply apart.
The world is in REAL trouble and WE, AMERICANs cannot work together. It has been so obvious with tit for tat between the Republicans and Democrats for so many years...I'm weary. It's tiring. I actually thought, on this site, I might learn something ... It's the same old thing. I am not Republican nor am I Democrat but I sure love my country, the United States of America. What does this silly volley solve?
I guess it doesn't matter, outside of our country, who will bring us down. We're hell bent on doing it to ourselves because we do not know how to communicate with each other.

I read with great sadness the constant replaying of the Democratic diatribe -- Saddam did not attack the US, there were no WMD. Over and over and over. SO FRICKIN WHAT. I HEARD IT THE FIRST TIME. Saddam WAS a Clear and Present Danger to the security of this great nation. I don't care WHY we deposed this nut case, I just care that he ended up on the end of a rope and so should all the petty dictators who threaten the stability of nations who want to promote stability in this world. With regards to WMD -- Even SADDAM THOUGHT he had them. So, once again, I DONT'T RRICKEN CARE whether he did or did not; It just doesn't matter. So, all you Dummycrats, read this. STOP ALL YOUR WHINING AND GET BEHIND THOSE WHO ARE PROTECTING YOUR FUTURE AND YOUR CHILDRENS FUTURE. I HAVE HEARD ENOUGH CRAP FROM PEOPLE LIKE PELOSI AND REID WHO IN MY HUMBLE OPINION ARE TRAITORS.
I guess I'm a little surprised that after 36 years of service, Brig. Gen. Jimmy L. Cash only has one star. How did you screw up General. I'm a 100%, Service Connected, Disabled Marine from service during and in Vietnam. I know war too. But consider, while you're supporting King Bush in getting us into this war in Iraq, we went in there under the false pretense that there were WMD's. He even ruined the reputation of General Colon Powell by having him point out locations where these supposed WMD's were while the IAEA Inspectors, with their very sophistocated equipment, couldn't detect ANYTHING!!! But, off to war we went. Tell me General, how different is Iraq from Vietnam. We can't fire unless fired upon, we cannot fire on Mosques where the insurgents have placed themselves to fire at our boys, I see very little difference. Halliburton is making the big money here and Dick Cheney is pulling the strings with this war instead of Johnson. We got royally screwed in Vietnam. I can only pray that the same fate doesn't befall the veterans returning from Iraq.
General, if you really believe the first attack on American Soil was on 9/11/01, THINK AGAIN. Our embasies are on American Soil. Our ships, like the USS Cole are American. America has been under attack by Usama bin Laden for 27 years, yet many people, some, not unlike yourself, believe that 9/11/01 was the first attack on America. Think again. But after 9/11/01, when King Bush said he was going to go after UbL, it seemed to have been lost in the interest of eleminating the WMD's in Iraq. And tell me this...did Saddam Hussein ever attack America? But Usama bin Laden did. Who should we have been going after. Instead, against the wishes of the UN, King Bush went to war with the THREAT against all other nations that if they weren't with us, they were against us. Would you want to piss off the USA. I wouldn't. Please read below.
Thank you Colonel. I agree with your analogy. It's true most people have not a clue about the real intent of the Muslims or for that matter, the intent of our leaders and the world leaders who "really" run this crazy world. As far as I am concerned, we are not fighting a real war in Iraq. We are involved in a civil fight that Muslims will spill over into nations worldwide. Some in our government haven't the guts to fight a real war - it's politics with them. They loath the military and are arrogant enough to believe TALK will win the day.
Being ready to die for a belief IS powerful reasoning (right or wrong) to annulated an enemy. Most do not understand that concept as most Americans would not die for anything even though many die for nothing (drugs, suicide, gang crap, etc.) Our society has evolved into a sorry mess. I believe I know why but that is another article.
I am afraid 2008 will bring America a government that will blame others for everything and appease the enemy so much that the enemy will take over without a fight. The government is giving America away for cheap Mexican labor (another slave class), votes and political correctness (bowing to Muslim demands).
I believe the world powers have decided that America must be 90% poor and 10% rich - and the 10% is THEM. That way, they can lord over us and we will be powerless to stop them. Dumb driven cattle, if you will. Never thought I'd see the day - but it's here.
I worry about a fundamental feature of war. When the total fabric of a nation, a division, a group, or a person has been threatened to the point whereby they have decided they will die in the defense of there territory [beliefs], one must use overwhelming power to break their will to fight. It is called the Territorial Imperative. Anything short of overwhelming power simply intensifies the commitment of the aggressor to fight and die for his cause.
Now on top of this, if the aggressor dies in battle while believing he will go to heaven and receive 72 virgins for his efforts, the intensity to fight increases by several levels.
I site WWII against Germany with the Allied Forces and Japan with Thermonuclear Weapons.
Korea was a tie at best because of an overwhelming threat of power by President Truman to use nuclear weapons.
Vietnam was lost because we fought an enemy prepared to die for their territory; America did not feel so threatened, and consequently not prepared to die [commit the blood and treasure] in defense of South Vietnam's territory.
America faces two paradoxes today. First, The American people do not understand that Western Culture is now threatening the thousands of years of Muslim life; how they live, how they love, how they treat and interact with wives and women, etc. As barbaric as we may think the terrorist culture is, it does not change the fact that he is ready to die for the threat the West imposes upon him.
Secondly, war is very expensive. The strategy being use by individual terrorists to selectively destroy elements of open societies is a brilliant one, because eventually the open society will implode from within because the economic and psychosocial cost to defend against this strategy will break the will of Amerika, considered the Great Satan by our enemy.
And finally, if we remain in this defensive mode to this otherwise brilliant terrorist strategy, time is not on our side. They will eventually arm one or a hand full of men to simultaneously explode weapons of mass destruction in western cultures which will implode the worlds modern structure we live in today. Consider, one armed terrorist can have the overwhelming power of entire armies in WWII.
The handwriting is on the wall of history. Read It.

Don't you just love those Dems? They are so used to breaking and making the laws they don't bother following them. Illegals are VOTES and the big corps are paying them off for the CHEAP LABOR. It just gets better and better.
I love to watch the infighting between Dems. They are just like spoiled kids in a sandbox - bullies. Pelosi is going to break that gavel one day. Probably the day they pass bringing our soldiers home in disgrace. They ARE going to lose the war for America. And, when they do - guess who's coming to America - and who will be hiding in their bomb shelters begging for someone to TALK to the terrorists and make them STOP? Yes, it will happen.
Wonder why we haven't heard about the ACLU Chapter President Arrested for Child Pornography on the liberal news? Oh, right, lefties are pro-porn, I forgot.
Bush ok'd a law today allowing semi trucks to cross the border delivering goods and produce. Wow, now we can get all the "heavily inspected" crops and goods right from Mexico. Wonder how many illegals and/or terrorists will be hiding in the cabbage...
Ever wonder why there are no animal abortion clinics? It's because the right wouldn't think of it and the left worship animals...
With Wells Fargo giving Illegals home loans with no SS number, job or money and Bank of America giving them credit cards with no SS number, job or money, HEY, who needs enemies? We have home grown ones. The bank says "no credit is better than bad credit". Hummm, wonder where that thinking was when I applied for a credit card - what a crock.
Ever wonder who orders the left media to grab on to a certain person running for president, makes a hero and movie star out of them and gives no one else any attention? Example, OBama and Hillary. Where's all the other guys who is running? Oh, yes, they aren't the media darlings, I forgot.
Hang in there, it's going to get a lot worse (or better, depending on who's side you're on).
