I receive many newsletters daily and I skim or read most of them. I can't remember where I read everything and a lot of it stays with me when I write. Some thoughts in this article are from a web site - www.olivetreeviews.org and it's good food for thought, indeed.
News' stories suggest Hurricane Katrina was "a once in a lifetime" event. How many times in the last five years have we heard that something, usually a disaster, was "of Biblical proportions?
Hurricane Katrina is America's tsunami though you might not know that unless you're watching Fox News. What you won't hear anywhere is that this week New Orleans was to observe "Southern Decadence Day with 100,000 homosexuals gathering there to commit unspeakable acts in public. Previous events were photographed and sent to the mayor and police officials but they did not care. They had their own lust: The $100,000,000 the event brings in.

I totally agree, Jim. America is about to lose everything to the socialists. There are so many communists in power positions now that it's hard to keep up with their agendas. There are many card carrying communists in Congress and the US Supreme Court and of course, the ACLU. These people don't "work" for a living like the rest of us. They promote their agendas and we pay them!
The Minutemen are the closest thing to a social revolt the common American has going. I support them.
The rights of Christians and people of spirituality are being destroyed one issue at a time, across the country, mostly by the ACLU and all their power groups (FEMA, environmentalists, feminists, social change groups like the people who write history books and all kids school books. The drug companies, corps and others have sold out the American people to overseas entities.
Money is the lust. Power is the vehicle. Dominance is the goal.
They (socialists) MUST make all American citizens the same in social standings to make us slaves for the elite. Taking our God away (public) and rising other religions (Muslim, Satanism, cults) is what they have accomplished.
It will get worse. The American Christian community is shrinking - not their faith but their willingness to STOP THE ENEMY. God won't approve and He will let His anger be known even if it's only Christians who recognize His messages. God bless America and have mercy...
Folks should give this event some serious thought. I went to college in New Orleans at Loyola University in the Garden District. I visited Bourbon St in the French Quarter many times and saw the decadence of that area. Going one street over, you can find some very nice shops and restaurants. It's the good turning a blind eye to the bad.
It took awhile but I found a website that told me my old campus sustained very little damage. I like to believe it had something to do with the statue of Jesus standing in front arms held high. We used to joking refer to it as Touchdown Jesus. I think his hands were held high holding back the force of nature.
In the French Quarter, another small part had the trees leveled. The only thing standing? Another statue of Jesus.
He is there as always. Right in the muck. If only the looters would pause and look up.

Seattle - Two soldiers who just returned from a year in Iraq were badly beaten in an attack outside Pioneer Square. But believe it or not, someone caught the beating on videotape. Now, police are asking for your help identifying the suspects.
The brutality of it all was captured on tape outside of Larry's Nightclub on First and Yesler on July 31.
The graphic videotape shows both victims getting beaten over and over again, and then after one of the victims loses consciousness, a suspect starts stomping on his head.

See the scum's pictures at the site and watch the video and if you know who these animals are, call the Seattle police. I don't understand why there is no outrage about this. Where are the "good guys", the heroes, the patriots? How can we let this evil go on and on? Where are the real Americans?
