Think About This! John F. Kerry has made his Vietnam service the cornerstone of his campaign for President. But he has said virtually nothing about what he did when he came home. His activities and statements at the time painted our veterans with an undeserved bloody brush. Many believe that the activities of John Kerry, Jane Fonda and others actually prolonged the war, resulting in the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of our soldiers, and thousands of Vietnamese. In 1971 John Kerry wrote a book called, The New Soldier and political operatives were scrambling to locate and suppress stray copies during Kerry's House campaign in 1972. Hi mj,
Yes, it's scary alright. The elite have done their job dividing the people of this great country. It's a mess right now. The worst ever.
I'll be so glad when this election is over. It's been going on for a year or more and it's so evil. Billions being spent to see which man is going to rule. What a waste of money. Think of the good all that money could be doing right in our country. Instead it's going to the media and to pay the already rich for whatever it is they do to get their man in power. Lust for power and money, that's all it is.
I pray God is still in charge and hasn't said - let them reap what they have sown - because we'll all be in a heap of trouble.

Jeff provides an excellent rebuff of Mr. Moore's ludicrous question. I watched that interviewed and was appalled at the way he distorts the truth. As a former Army officer, I understand the expectations of our country for its soldiers. I was fortunate to have spent 10 years in the Army during one of the longest stretches of peacetime in the history of the Army. I resigned my commission almost 1 year to the date before Iraq invaded Kuwait. When I called Department of the Army and volunteered to be reactivated, I found that there was a waiting list for aviators. I didn't call quick enough :-(
I have a young son now, and as any parent, would not want to see him sacrafice his life for a questionable cause. When it's time for him to make a decision, I will stand behind him 100%. And if he were old enough now and wanted to join the military, I would support him, even if it meant he'd go to Iraq. Do I question the decision to invade Iraq? No, and if they'd accept a 47 year old man on active duty, I'd gladly serve there also.
Hi Debra, I totally agree with you. This is a matter that is so far "above" the liberal mind set, it renders their logic non-existant.
Your son is in my prayers. God bless him and all our young in the military. They are the only patriots who are practicing their belief with honor. They are in God's care and no amount of socialist rhetoric can take away their place in our hearts.
I have absolutely NO respect for Michael Moore. And never will. In my opinion, he is the 'Jane Fonda' of this war.
My son, a Staff Sargeant in the Marine Corps is currently serving in Iraq. He has told us that he will be coming home next month. We all pray that he will. But, if it is God's will that he doesn't, then he gave his life for a good cause: the freedom of people other than his own. We here in America enjoy many freedoms and feel good when our men and women are fighting DIRECTLY for the freedoms we have. But we have to remember: EVERY human has the right to be free. This includes the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, China, Korea, whereever mankind is oppressed. No, I wouldn't sacrifice my child. But, as this article says: he was an adult and it was his decision. He knew what being a Marine entailed. And I stand behind him 100% even if he doesn't come home.

A car company can move its factories to Mexico and claim it's a free market. A toy company can out source to a Chinese subcontractor and claim it's a free market. A major bank can incorporate in Bermuda to avoid taxes and claim it's a free market. We can buy HP Printers made in Mexico. We can buy shirts made in Bangladesh. We can purchase almost anything we want from different countries.
BUT, heaven help the elderly who dare to buy their prescription drugs from a Canadian pharmacy. That's called un-American! And you think the pharmaceutical companies don't have a powerful lobby? Think again!
Please forward this to every person you know over age 50. It is an interesting point of view. Maybe this is an issue that should come up in the next election!

I couldn't agree more. During the hearings, she handled herself extremely well.
She handled ALL of the badgering ... from BOTH sides. She maintained her poise, didn't get emotional (upset) ... if she was, she darn sure didn't show it.
Edwards would outshine Kerry, IMO ... something I'm not so sure Kerry's ego could stand ... besides, Edwards doesn't have such a long, sad, almost Lurch (the character on the TV series, "The Munsters") like expression on his
face. :)

Rush is right on, here.
I believe Hillary doesn't want to run against Bush. She doesn't want to run until she is certain of a win. What a crushing blow to her ego if she lost. To think that Bill made it and she didn't would send her into a mental condition worse than the one she's in. Those of us in the know - know how she won the seat she holds now and how she got the votes. And, it's true she wants to be president and Bill wants the job Koffe Anon has and THAT IS WHAT IS, IS. They'll rule the world!
And, who will run against her in '08? I believe that Condi Rice is being groomed for that honor. She is a terrifc choice and boy would I like to see that contest. If Kerry wins - God forbid - people will be so sick of Dems that Hillary would think twice before running. She will run against the next Conservative and I hope it's Condi.

As I sometimes listen to the conservative talk show host Rush, he seems over confident that Bush will win.
Part of his reasoning is that Hilliary will most likely be the NEXT presidential candidate ... he reasons that Hilliary will NOT want to wait eight years before her quest for the oval office begins.
Which does make sense to me ... I'm not so sure that the republicans will want Dick Cheney as their man.
This isn't a personal attack on Dick ... I wonder if there is a possible stronger candidate ... no, leader, ...
I'd like to see some possible alternatives .... it'll have to be a strong one IF Hillary does start her march for the white house.

Hi Phillip, good to hear from you. I agree with you - and I think the 'lesser than two evils' comes from people believing everything the two men do is wrong and/or evil. We all have evil in us and we all have good. So, the degree of each in us makes up our total character. Of the two I pick Bush. Not perfect, however like the good old redneck cowboy he is - he says what he means and sticks to his guns. Kerry just don't know what he means, well not yet anyway...

This is indeed a strained political season. When Kerry was deemed the democrats man, I had my doubts.
There was a lot of sense made about Kerry's waffling of issues ... he voted FOR something before he voted against it (or vice-versa). He seems to change his mind on an issue at the slightest 'change' in people's opinions ... polls, or whatever.
However, Bush HAS made some less than intelligent decisions, IMO ... he's NOT perfect ... no one is.
However, there IS a major difference from what I see ... Bush seems to stick to his stance, even IF it's not a popular stance.
That takes guts ... to stand up for what you believe and not be influenced by the directions of the latest wind.
Some say one candidate is the 'lesser of two evils'. No matter which party you support, such a statement seems to be a shameful claim from EITHER party supporter.

Thanks for reading Jim. And, you are so right. I have never in my life heard such hate being spewed. How in the world can people be united when we have to listen to that daily. I believe they intend to divide. Everything I believe about this is in my 4 volumes. I am thinking about posting #1 here so people will see what they are about. Bobbette, you are certainly being read. At least by me... I really try to keep and open mind about politics and listen to both sides. As a registered Republican, you know who I'm for, but I've not always been that way. I voted Independent for many years to keep myself open to the best candidate from either side (or in between). This election is very ugly and it's not because Kerry is a better candidate than Bush. It's because the Democrats don't really have anything positive to say about their own candidate. So their approach is to attack the President through all means. It's not that they like their own candidate, it's just that they hate... pure unadulterated hate. Campaign finance reform has opened the doors for this negative approach as well. 527 groups can't be for anyone, their only approach is to attack. Kerry said at the convention that he wanted the rest of the campaign to be conducted on a positive note. But at the same time he called the President, Vice President and the whole administration names.. and not very good ones either. Keep up the good work!

This election year is the most important one in years. Can we afford to put someone new in the White House who will install MORE liberal judges in this country? Can we afford someone who closes and eye on Abortion, even Partial Birth Abortion? Can we afford to put someone in the White House who won't track down terrorists before they get to us?
The future of our families is at stake here. The very foundation of our families. Everyone better start caring before its too late to turn back.

You know, Mel, I was born in PA. It's coal country - well, it was until your friends put everyone out of work. I shoveled coal into our home furnace for years. We all did to keep warm. Didn't hurt one of us.
Now, if we who DO something about the problems can't burn coal, can't have pipe lines, can't dig for oil because of your friends fears, what the heck ARE we supposed to do for power? Maybe France or Russia will solve our problems or maybe Kofi Annon after he takes over the operations of the USA. That should solve things. He would put your friends in charge and we will all just freeze. That would help the population explosion.
You can bet your friends are nice and warm and they will continue to be and they drive nice electric cars too...
I think solutions tried are better than bad mouthing everyone's efforts to solve problems. Of course, your friends get billions for like thinking folks. Easy money for filing court papers to stop everything wouldn't you say?
Then too they can burn down forests where those nasty big houses are that are made form trees that have been killed by some devil of a logger. I just know all your friends live in mud huts with bamboo floors and 20 recycle bins outside.
Come on Mel. What do you really know about coal and the damage it does to air that you haven't been told by some wacko environmentalist.
As far as "my team" being the NWO - all of the elite are and that includes ALL of your friends...

You are right. Senior Bush did talk about the NWO and it was Clinton who signed it into law for the US in 1992, set up a commission and befriended Kofi Anon, letting him know he wants his job.
I've often wondered why the American people don't just QUIT paying income taxes. Everyone knows the IRS id a rouge outfit. There is no law that people must pay income taxes and yet they do. Why?
I've often wondered why people who have innocent kids in school don't take them out of schools that do things that hurt their kids. Millions of kids shouldn't be in schools that brainwash and dope their kids let alone get the girls abortions without the parent knowing!
No, they just gripe about it. Wonder why? Isn't that like telling a kid not to do something and when they do, just gripe about it - dont DO anything about it? Politicians are like a bunch of kids - all fighting for power and money!
I've got the tape. I know about tyranny. I know what's going on. I write books about it. I don't think anyone is 100% right or 100% wrong. The country is in the worst shape ever. It won't get any better. People are too lazy to stop it. I guess the answer to my question is - people are too spoiled.

Well Bush put into action a year ago to screen all children for mental problems and put them on the latest drugs to bolster the pharmacuetical companies pockets again ,as he did by privatizing the medicare program. It isn't going to help the seniors,only the Drug companies and HMO's which have gotten $500 million already from our taxes. Also Bush senior is the one that started the talk about "The New World Order" and how things will be changing. Corporate America is getting richer and the Middle class are getting poorer and getting stuck with all the taxes.

Sen. John Kerry keeps talking about U.S. corporations
leaving this country and setting up shop in foreign countries,
taking thousands of jobs with them. He is right, because that
has happened. However, he is trying to blame it on George W.
Bush. As far as I know, Bush has not moved one factory out of
this country because he is not the owner of a single factory.

Hi Marjory, I have had many write to me with the same comment. Few know of this and they are shocked. Some don't care about it which tells me which side they are on... There are 2 politically motivated Americans these days - the left and the right. No matter where one stands within the parameters of each, their character shows. Personally I don't think there will ever be one America - united - again. They damage is too deep and the agendas too strong. It's sad. Thanks for writing and visit often...
Cavuto has brought this up on several occasions, After hearing this I refuse to buy any merchandise produced by heinz. I sure changed alot tof items purchased. I even check off brands looking for ties.

A Letter by an Alleged Wife of a Martyr to the Wife of Paul Johnson
The recent issue of Sawt al-Jihad ("Voice of Jihad"), which is identified with Al-Qa'ida, published an article titled "A Letter to the Wife of the Slain Pagan Paul Johnson from the Wife of One of the Martyrs."(1) This letter celebrates the murder of the American hostage Paul Johnson in Saudi Arabia. The anonymous letter is attributed to the wife of one of the terrorists killed by the Saudi Security forces. The following are excerpts from the letter:(2)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Scam artists posing as fund-raisers for Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry are trying to trick Internet users into sending them money, an Internet security firm has said.
The Kerry campaign said on Tuesday it had asked the Justice Department to investigate.
Two separate mass e-mail "spam" campaigns were uncovered that ask users to contribute to Kerry's presidential bid, but direct the money to Web sites in India and Texas that are not affiliated with the campaign, said the security firm SurfControl, which makes Internet content filters.
Such "phishing" scams will likely become more commonplace as the presidential campaign heats up, SurfControl vice president Susan Larson said in a news release.
"Phishers and other scam artists are masters of leveraging timely events to exploit the unwary," Larson said.

I am disabled, I was born with Spina Bifida. I am going to purchase your books but wanted to add a little info. I recently won an ongoing appeal with the VA because of my fathers exposure to AGENT ORANGE during the Vietnam War where he was stationed on the DMZ in Korea. "His Exposure to Agent Orange played a huge factor in my being born with Spina Bifida!"
To this day many were under the impression that it was a birth defect because of a deficiency of a certain vitamin. It may be true for some, but my disability I know goes back to the Vietnam War.

The Annan-Clinton intrigue is all the more interesting because of the speculation that a President Kerry would appoint Bill Clinton as secretary-general of the U.N.
This story is a repeat of reports during the 2000 election that Clinton had a deal with Al Gore that he would appoint Clinton to the coveted global job if Gore won the presidency.
But with Clinton aides and associates holding the purse strings at the DNC and with many of the 527 groups that Kerry will need to finance his last laps until November, Clinton may ask for payback.
Already, Kerry has passed over Hillary as his vice president. He still owes the Clintons.
And Bill is itching to get back into the public eye -- as his book tour attests. The secretary-general's job may fit the Bill.
