You are absolutely right on the money, with regard to IE vs FireFox. Once I made the switch to FF, my virus software stopped needing to work so much overtime. I avoid using IE, like the plague.
Beware dialup accelerators too. The proxy servers they use often leave users vunerable to virus attacks as well.
