It's early January as I sit down to research and write this newsletter. I launch my web browser, surf over to MSN.com, surprised to find the feature article displaying a picture of Santa Claus with the caption "It's not too late to have your presents arrive on time." Somebody's been procrastinating - either Bill Gates or me (maybe I didn't refresh my browser). Or maybe my computer is trying to give me the hint to stop procrastinating and set about the task of writing this newsletter. Nah... Bill Gates must be the guilty one!

I agree that it is Gates. That man and therefore that company is driven by a need to make as much money as possible. There is no limit to their greed.
This relates well to your earlier post too. Until we all - oncluding Bill Gates and all the Bill Gates-wannabees, learn mosre moral responsibility, we will continue to see people suckered into buying the magic bullets Jim mentioned in his comment to your earlier post. There is no easy way to get rich on the Internet and never really was. The few that did get rich did it because they were in the right place at the right time more than anything else. And just because one person makes a million doing something does not mean the next person who does the exact same thing will get rich as well. Add a few houndred people doing that same thing to the mix, and the odds of fiancial gain go way down.
As Jim said, it takes creativity, hard word and perserverance to make a licing on the Internet. The creativity to come up with your own product that will sell, the hard work required to promote it and provide high quality customer service, and the perserverance to stick with your marketing even if your rpoduct does not sell right away.
You must have faith in your product and more importantly, faith in yourself. Depend not on others to provide you with a magic bullet. Take responsibility for yourself and do it with integrity and honsty.

I invite you to read Bobby's article here, without my comments :) Instead of giving you advice on how to make a million bucks, and pretending to be famous and wealthy, I would like to talk about all the net-penuers who aren't making a living on the information superhighway.

Stone Evans has followed the lead of the other "online gurus" and offers the so-called magic bullet to making money on the Internet. There is no magic bullet. It takes creatively and hard work. Find a product or service that someone WANTS and needs, and then SELL it. The reason site's like pluginprofits makes money is because it's selling what Net Surfers WANT, the magic bullet. However, I'd question that what's being sold is what they need.
You're doing a great job Phillip on bringing out the truth behind the stuff on the Net. You're definitely getting "Straight to the Point"

I was blessed to receive a new book for Christmas entitled "The 8th Habit: From Effectiveness To Greatness", written by Stephen Covey I found this quote inside: "In a few hundred years, when the history of our time is written from a long-term perspective, it is likely that the most important event those historians will see is not technology, not the internet, not e-commerce. It is an unprecendented change in the human condition. For the first time---literally--- substantial and rapidly growing numbers of people have choices. For the first time, they will have to manage themselves." "And society is totally unprepared for it." Peter Drucker

This looks very interesting. Incidently, I too am a fan of Da Covey Man ( :D ). If you think you might be interested in some of my mental meanderings re: Covey then feel free to take a look at my personal blog: <a href=" http://stephen-covey-seven-...
