1. UNLIMITED FREE VISITORS TO YOUR WEBSITE
    TODAY
    People earn credits by visiting your website. These
    services do work and you'll get thousands of visitors. But
    will the visitors actually buy at your site? Nope!

They're at your site for the same reason that you visited
theirs, to earn them a credit. They are not interested in
your product and since their presence screws up your ability
to monitor a reliable Visitor-to-Sales ratio, you're better
off without them.

2. CREDITS TO READ EMAIL WITH ADS
    You earn credits to read emails containing ads, verify that
    you've opened (though not read of course) the email by
    clicking on a link. The service works and you'll get your
    ads sent out within emails to thousands. But no one is
    really interested in your ads and you'll have to keep
    receiving and opening entirely unproductive emails. The
    result is a complete waste of your VALUABLE online time.

3. POSTING TO FREE FOR ALLs (FFAs)
    It's easy to do, will create a ton of email back to you and
    will generally be ignored by everyone. Don't bother, unless
    you enjoy wasting your time or you have a marketing
    system that will cross market back to them.

    Upline...Downline. These programs come and go faster than

I've spent a lot of years studying successful people. I think I've identified some of the characteristics that make them that way. First, there are five things that I believe all successful people have:

A dream.

A plan.

Specific knowledge or training.

A willingness to work hard.

The unwillingness to take no for an answer.

I also believe that success is a state of mind. That you must believe you'll be successful if you're going to become successful. Keep that in mind as you read the list.

Successful people have a dream.
They have a well-defined purposes. They have definite goals. They know what they want. Their strong desire brings strong results. They go out and do things that others say can't be done.

Successful people ask the question: "What is possibly missing that I could do today to move me closer to achieving my dream?" They ask this question every hour of every day. They have it printed on the bathroom mirror, on their computer monitor and on their dashboard: "What is possibly missing?" They understand that nothing kills accomplishment like trying to be perfect. They seek excellence, which allows for making mistakes and learning from them. As my friend Alex Mandossian says, "Progress, not perfection." Perfection Kills.

Successful people have ambition.
They want to accomplish something. They have enthusiasm, commitment, and pride. They have self-discipline. They're willing to work hard. They have a burning desire to succeed. They're willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. 

Successful people are strongly motivated to achieve.
They take great satisfaction in accomplishing tasks.
 

Does your motivation seem to vanish without notice? Here one day, gone the next? It happens to everyone, and most often the cause comes down to one of the five threats below.

Running into one of these traps can instantly wipe out the energy and drive you need to get moving, but with a few steps in place, you can avoid these common threats and enjoy a motivation that never quits.

1. A Desire for More
Wanting to live a better life is a great beginning, but if that's where it ends, the motivation can never begin. You must have a crystal clear outcome to move toward, a super- specific target that is vivid in your mind, a goal or dream so clear that you can see, touch, and taste it.

If you've been thinking about getting in shape, narrow that desire down into a specific figure. If you want to find a new job, spend as much time as you need to mold that idea into a tangible vision for the future. Whatever it is, make it as clear as humanly possible.

2. Reasons & Rationalizations
Moving from where you are to where you want to be involves change, risk, and discomfort. While these are certainly worth the trouble they pose, most people develop excuses to avoid confronting them.

I'd eat better if I only had the time to learn all those guidelines...I really do want to meet new people, but Ive been swamped at work...I'd love a new career, but I have to wait until I know things are stable enough for a change.

The instant an excuse hits your mind, the motivation to move forward with your plans is wiped out. To avoid this trap in the future, shine the light on your most common excuses and force yourself to prove them false with facts.

3. A Bump in the Road
This is among the most common and most important traps to be aware of. The smallest stumble or setback can often be enough to bring a complete end to any plans for change.

You must train your mind into not only knowing but also believing that any bump in the road is simply a learning experience, a tool you can use to readjust your heading and proceed with greater insight and intelligence.

How many times have you heard those words? They've got to be close to the top of the list of things that make you wish you went into another line of work.

How do you respond to that statement?

Let me tell you about an acquaintance of mine. We'll call him Sam.

Sam sells software that helps companies run more efficiently.

He was telling me that when he's talking with a prospect, everything seems to be going fine, until he pops this question: "How much money do you have in the budget?"

He told me about a recent situation:

"On Monday, I was talking to Joe, the CEO of an insurance company. He agreed with everything I said about his situation and about my software. He liked it and thought it might help.

"And then I asked the question: 'How much money do you have in your budget?'"

I asked Sam what happened.

"Joe said there wasn't any money in the budget. Things pretty much fell apart after that."

"So, what's the situation now," I asked.

"He asked me to call him back after September, when their fiscal year ends. He thought he might be able to do something then."

I asked Sam why he asked that particular question in the first place.

"Because I needed to know how much money they had to spend."

Wrong.

The Global Economy will also affect the landscape.

People from certain countries will have a major advantage over
others. When your cost of living is US$250/month you don’t have
to make much of a profit online to have a good lifestyle.

A $20 affiliate commission is still a $20 affiliate commission whether
it’s generated by a marketer in England that pays $1,400/month for rent
or a marketer in Romania that pays $75/month for rent.

Some foreign entrepreneurs will be willing to work very hard for 40
hours a week in some competitive markets and will be happy to
generate $250/month.

US-based entrepreneurs won’t be able to survive on those results.

And the cost to generate visitors to a web site is going to skyrocket.

Pay-per-click costs will continue to rise.

SEO will become exponentially more competitive.

     Look carefully and objectively at your weaknesses, and you will see in them the very real potential for increased strength.

It can be painful to confront and to examine your weaknesses, and yet by doing so you'll begin to tap into the strength and power which lie hidden in them. The pain you experience is the first indication that the transformation from weakness to strength has begun.

What things are holding you back? What things are making you vulnerable to the vagaries of circumstance? Find those things and go to work on them. Put your imagination and your efforts into transforming them.

The very same things which work against you can be changed so that they work for you. The energy which pushes you back can be harnessed to move you forward. Just imagine the power of that reality! Imagine it, and then set about to live it. Have the courage to face your shortcomings, the commitment to overcome them, and the positive results will be dramatic indeed.

It seems obvious and yet it's a powerful truth that's all too often overlooked. To stay focused you need something on which to focus -- something specific, something clear and well defined.

Are you having trouble staying focused? Then perhaps you need to more clearly define the object of your focus. As an example, let's say you're attempting to focus on making more money.

The vague goal of "making more money" is not clear enough nor definitive enough. Exactly how much more money do you intend to earn? Precisely how do you intend to earn it? What will you do with it when you get it, and why is that important to you? Questions such as these will provide you with a clear and specific object on which to focus.

Focus is impossible without a focal point. Just the act itself of clearly and specifically defining that focal point will serve to lock your mind and your energy into focus. And when the object of your focus is well defined, you can quickly get back on track if your focus should happen to stray.

Know, understand, and appreciate precisely where you desire to be focused. The more clearly you can define the object of your focus, the more intently and effectively you can focus upon it. Decide exactly what you intend to do, and almost as if by magic you'll find yourself actually getting it done.

It's easy to act with kindness and understanding toward those who have been kind to you. Yet the real power of kindness comes when you give it even to those who don't deserve it.

Acting with cruelty in response to cruelty only drags down everyone involved. With kindness, you have the opportunity to lift up yourself and others. Being kind does not mean allowing others to take advantage of you. On the contrary, your kindness can give you the positive, undeniable power to make sure that everyone's best interests are served.
